Refund Policy
Last updated 20 October 2026
Short version: our products are code files that you get the moment you pay, so sales are final once the files are delivered. We still refund when something is our fault or a payment went wrong, and the cases are listed below. These rules apply to every customer, wherever you live.
Who we are. qodesign is a brand of Wisdom Sphere LLC ("Wisdom Sphere", "we", "us"), a Delaware limited liability company, 16192 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958, USA. Email: [email protected]. Website: https://qodesign.dev.
1. Why digital purchases are final
Code can't be "given back": once you have the files, you have them. That's why digital purchases are final once the download is made available to you.
If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the law normally gives you 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Digital content delivered online is an exception. You lose that right once delivery has started, when all three of these are true:
- you agreed that delivery starts immediately, within the 14 days;
- you acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal by doing so;
- we sent you a confirmation of the order, including that agreement, on a durable medium (our confirmation email).
This comes from Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (EU and EEA) and regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK).
There is no tick-box. Right under every buy button we say: "By buying you agree to the Terms and ask for instant access, so you lose the 14-day withdrawal right." Pressing the button is that agreement, and we record when you pressed it and which version of the wording you saw. Once payment is confirmed, your download links are available right away, which is when delivery starts. If you live somewhere without a statutory withdrawal right (for example the US), pressing the button simply confirms you want the files straight away.
2. When we do refund
We refund the full price of the affected product in these cases:
- The files are faulty or not as described, and we can't fix it. For example, the ZIP is corrupted, files are missing, the component doesn't run with the versions stated on the product page, or it is materially different from the live demo. Tell us what is wrong. We will fix it or send working files within 7 days of your report. If we can't, you get a refund (or a partial refund, if you prefer to keep a partly working product).
- You were charged twice. Duplicate payments for the same order, or buying a component you already own through the All-Access Pack, by mistake. Tell us within 30 days and we refund the duplicate.
- You paid but never got access. If the files never became available to you and we can't fix it within 24 hours of your message, we refund you.
- You haven't downloaded anything yet. Bought by mistake? If you write to us within 14 days of the purchase and our records show no download of that product, we refund it. This is a goodwill rule on top of what the law requires.
- Where the law requires it. For example, consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK have statutory rights when digital content is faulty or not as described (EU: Directive (EU) 2019/770; UK: Consumer Rights Act 2015). Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.
3. When we don't refund
- you changed your mind after downloading;
- you no longer need the component, or your project was cancelled;
- the component doesn't fit a framework, library version or setup that the product page doesn't list as supported;
- you expected something the product page doesn't describe;
- you can't integrate it because of your own code or environment (we are happy to help, see below).
Not sure a component will work for you? Try the live demo, read the product page, or email us before buying. We answer pre-sale questions too.
4. All-Access Pack and Updates
- The All-Access Pack is a one-time purchase and follows sections 1 to 3, like any component.
- If the pack is fully refunded, access to it ends, and so does everything you got through Updates. We cancel the Updates plan at the same time, so it doesn't charge you again.
- You can cancel Updates at any time from your account (Manage subscription) or by email. Cancelling stops the next charge. The plan stays active until the end of the month you already paid for. We don't refund unused days or partial months.
- When you subscribe to Updates, you ask for access to new components as they are released and acknowledge that this ends any 14-day right of withdrawal you have once access starts. As a goodwill rule, if you cancel within 14 days of subscribing and have not downloaded anything released under Updates, we refund that first payment.
- Renewal payments are not refunded once the new month has started. If you forgot to cancel and have not downloaded anything released in the new month, write to us within 7 days of the renewal and we will refund that renewal.
- Components released while your plan was active stay yours after you cancel (see the Licence). Components released after it ends are not included.
5. Custom work
Custom projects run on a quote and the Custom Work Terms. In short:
- The deposit (normally 50% of the quote) books our time and pays for the first part of the work. Once we have started, it is not refundable, except if we fail to deliver what was agreed.
- Each milestone you approve is final and is not refunded.
- If you cancel the project, you pay for the work done up to that point; anything you paid beyond that is refunded.
- If we cancel or can't deliver, we refund everything you paid for work you haven't received.
If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK and we start work during the 14-day withdrawal period at your request, you can still withdraw, but you pay for the work done until you tell us. Once the work is fully delivered at your request, the right of withdrawal ends.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account with:
- your order number (it's in the confirmation email);
- the product;
- what went wrong, with a screenshot or error message if you have one.
We reply within 3 business days. If we approve a refund, we issue it within 14 days through Link, our merchant of record, to the card or payment method you used, including any tax you paid. Banks usually show a refund on your statement within 5 to 10 business days after it is issued. If you paid recently, it may simply appear as the original charge disappearing.
Asking Link instead. Link (Sold through Link, LLC) processes every order as our merchant of record, so you can also ask Link support for a refund, within 60 days of the payment, under Link's refund policy. Link may refund you directly. Where Link's policy gives you more than this one, Link's policy applies.
When we refund a purchase, the licence for that product ends. Please delete the files and stop using them in new projects.
7. Withdrawing from a contract (EU, EEA and UK consumers)
If you still have a right of withdrawal (for example, an Updates plan you haven't used yet, or a custom project during its first 14 days), use the form on the Withdraw from contract page or email us. You get an email right away confirming that we received your withdrawal, with the date and time and a copy of what you sent. If a refund is due, we send it within 14 days.
8. Chargebacks
Please talk to us (or Link) before you open a dispute with your bank. A chargeback freezes the money for weeks and costs a dispute fee, while an email to us is usually solved in a day. Disputes are handled by Stripe and Link as merchant of record, and they may send the bank our records: your checkout agreement, the confirmation email and the download log. Access to the files from that order is paused while the dispute is open.
9. Questions
[email protected]. If you are not happy with our answer, see "Governing law and disputes" in the Terms of Service.
